Brasserie de la Senne: thoughtful technological choices
La Brasserie de la Senne is a brewery located in the Belgian capital, where quality requirement cannot be the subject to any compromise. Its artisan-made beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized, free of additives, using only the finest raw materials. Guided by the desire to make things better and better, the founders Bernard Leboucq and Yvan De Baets always choose technological equipments of the brewery with great care.
As UP trace partner since 2013, the Brasserie de la Senne had previously acquired a Citronix deviated inkjet marking system for batch numbers and dates printing on beer bottle caps. More recently, the brewery decidedly on the rise was also equipped by UP trace with a High resolution inkjet marking system for direct printing on packaging boxes.
It's the new UBS APLINK MRX which was set on the production line. It was developed to mark on porous cartons or supports any type of high quality bar codes including EAN codes, images or logos, and text.
One of the great advantages of this technology is the ability to print on products in real time, directly on the production lines and without stopping the products. The boxes are customized at the last minute which simplifies the management of packaging.
Bernard Leboucq relates: "Previously, boxes were manually identified with a stamp, a relatively inflexible and restrictive way of marking. With the UP trace Aplink MRX solution, we now have a system of high flexibility and high quality of marking, enabling us to significantly better meet the regulations of the AFSCA, but also to evolve with our business' needs. As for UBS reliability, it is indisputable: we never encounter any problems! »
La Brasserie de la Senne is a company on the move and we take great pleasure to accompany it!
